Nikos Initially joined Karatzas & Partners in 2007 and became a partner in 2012.
His main areas of practice include banking and financial regulation, NPLs, capital markets, asset management, debt restructuring, M&A and corporate law. He has advised in a series of highlight banking, corporate, debt restructuring, M&A and NPL-related transactions, including advising the Hellenic Republic in relation to the debt exchange programme of privately held Greek government bonds (known as the “PSI”).
Before joining Karatzas & Partners Nikos worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers AG (Frankfurt) and the German Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin).
