MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Our firm advised Kpler on all Greek law aspects relating to the acquisition of Marine Traffic

We are proud to have advised Kpler, the leading provider of commodities data, analytics and market insight, on all Greek law aspects relating to the acquisition of MarineTraffic, the Athens-based provider of global ship-tracking data and maritime analytics. The deal follows an earlier acquisition of FleetMon, a well-known AIS data service provider, by MarineTraffic, resulting in a coordinated double acquisition for Kpler in the maritime analytics space.

Our team was led by our Partner Anna Manda, assisted by our Associates Stavroula Simitzi, Dimitra Vytogianni, Regina Keramida, Maria-Christina Raptopoulou and our Trainee Lawyer Mariana Gravani. Aggeliki Tsatsi, Partner and head of Employment, supported by our Associate Anna Pechlivanidi, advised on all employment aspects of the transaction while our Associate, Alkmini Basakarou, advised on Real Estate law matters.

Congratulations and many thanks for the excellent cooperation to all legal teams involved in the transaction: Cooley LLP (UK), the lead advisors of Kpler, and Lambadarios Law Firm and Reed Smith LLP (UK) who advised the shareholders of MarineTraffic.
