We are proud to have supported Columbia Global Center Athens on the Lab to Market Initiative, providing pro bono legal advice to help drive this important programme forward.

The Lab to Market Initiative, run by the Columbia Global Center in Athens and led by Columbia Engineering – The Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), with the support of Columbia Business School, Endeavor Greece, and the Hellenic Institute of Advanced Studies (HIAS), is designed to enable the next generation of researchers to transform breakthrough ideas into real-world ventures through entrepreneurial training, expert mentorship and industry collaboration.

As part of the inaugural Lab to Market Pitch Competition, we are also pleased to provide pro bono legal support to WasteChain, the competition’s first-prize winner, which develops a digital marketplace enabling companies to buy and sell recyclable and secondary raw materials, and DiagnAll, a healthtech venture developing technology for the early detection of subtle health signals, with a focus on preventive and continuous cardiac monitoring.

We are honoured to contribute to an initiative that bridges the academic world and the market, fostering innovation and enabling new opportunities for entrepreneurship.
