Karatzas & Partners advised ElvalHalcor in connection with its €250 million share capital increase, through a non-preemptive new shares issuance.
The transaction, which involved a combined offering comprising of a public offer in Greece with priority allocation to existing shareholders and an institutional offering outside Greece, was multiple times oversubscribed with total demand of the offering exceeding the maximum number of new shares.
The proceeds will primarily be used to facilitate the execution of the Company’s updated strategic business plan 2026 – 2030 and to fund a portion of its approximately €455.0 million growth investment program, enabling the Company to become in the coming years the second largest aluminium rolling plant in Europe and among the largest in the western world.
Our core team consisted of Catherine Karatzas, Alexandra Kondyli, Maria Chronaki, Pavlina Anagnostopoulou and Daphne Farmaki and further included Hara Kora, Argiro Vagia, Dimitra Karampela, Georgia Patiri, Vassiliki Rogakou and Eleonora Ligoutsikou.
We sincerely thank all teams at ElvalHalcor for their continuous trust and valuable cooperation over the years.
