Our Head of Tax, Eleonora Ligoutsikou, contributed to the 7th Law & Tax Conference by Nomiki Bibliothiki.
During the panel discussion “Combating Tax Evasion and Tax Incentives: Two Opposing Trends for the Same Goal,” Eleonora examined the evolving global mobility landscape shaped by digital nomads, remote work and new tax incentives, which challenge the concept of tax residence for both employees and employers. She also focused on the OECD’s recent methodology for determining when an employee’s home office may trigger permanent establishment for the employer.
We extend our thanks to the organisers and speakers for this insightful event.
