Karatzas & Partners advised GLS on the agreement for its strategic investment in ACS for a total value of €370 million

We are pleased to announce that our firm advised General Logistics Systems B.V. (GLS), a subsidiary of International Distribution Services plc (IDS), one of the largest parcel services providers in Europe with operations also in North America, on its recent acquisition of a 20% stake in ACS Courier and Postal Services from Quest Holdings SA for €74 million. As part of the transaction, GLS also secured a call option to acquire the remaining 80% of ACS’s share capital within the next two years for a consideration of €296 million.

 

GLS’ legal team consisted of Lars Gebauer, general counsel GLS Group and Dr. Marcel Gellings, assistant general counsel GLS Group, whom we thank for the excellent collaboration.
