We are proud to have advised Eurobank S.A. and National Bank of Greece S.A. on the issue by Hellenic Open Fiber S.A., a subsidiary of the Nova-Wind group of companies, of a total financing package amounting to EUR 100 million.

This landmark transaction marks the first application of a Greek entity to obtain funding from the Greek Recovery and Resilience Fund (RRF) Co-Financing Framework. The proceeds of the transaction will be used for the acceleration of the deployment of Hellenic Open Fiber’s Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) network in Greece, contributing as such to the upgrade of infrastructure networks and connectivity across the country and to the country’s wider digital transformation.

Our team, which was led by our partner Anna Manda, assisted by our senior associate Sonia Saranti, our alumni associate Alexandra Agorastou and our junior associate Nikos Stefas and trainee lawyers George Zervakis and Tina Sofianou, advised the lenders in all stages of the transaction, ie. in respect of the hybrid infrastructure and corporate financing from the banks, as well as in respect of the RRF financing, including in particular in the drafting of the entire package of financing documentation for this model transaction for the Greek Recovery and Resilience Fund’s digital transformation pillar.
