Karatzas & Partners are organising a competition for best article in English on the subject «The assessment of state structure, institutions and actors in a modern democracy».  The articles winning article will be published in “IHT – Kathimerini English Edition”.  The best, second-best and third-best articles will win a monetary prize each of EUR 3,000, EUR 1,500 and EUR 500 respectively.  The winners will be announced at a ceremony to take place on 16 December 2013 and will have the opportunity to discuss their articles with the judging committee and with a panel of experts composed of prominent academics and thinkers.  Participants must be undregraduates at an establishment of higher education and up to 24 years of age.  Deadline for submissions is 1 November 2013.
