Karatzas & Partners sponsored the Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon Law School for its participation in the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot 2019 University competition, held in Miami.
The Athens Law School received the 4th place out of 132 participant teams, competing universities from all around the world (including the University of Harvard, New York University, University College London, King’s College London and more). The team, consisting of four undergraduate students, Eleni-Amalia Giannakopoulou, Maria Koutsoumpa, Stavros-Christos Papakyriazis and Alexandros Peppas, as well as two distinguished coaches, Margarita Tsigkou and Maria Vlachou, under the academic supervision of Professor Anastasios Gourgourinis, took over the defence of three international social media companies against a newly democratically reformed state, and vice versa.
